dotaSO
Your one-stop site for DotA Solution
New site name and updates
File Updates: DotA 6.64
I would like to declare the new site name for this site previously called "DotA Solution". It shall be renamed to "dotaSO" which is the short form of DotA Solution, I am considering whether I should get a domain name under this site name for a shorter URL and easier reference.
Also, I have updated some sections of the site and appearantly most people have no problem installing and configuring the connection for DotA gameplay. The web status show that most people only access the download section, I believe the hits must be redirected from CuteWorm site. Still, not many people are aware of this dedicated site. I hope I am not typing so much for nothing, especially for the Tutorial section. I really spent a great deal of effort to present you the information.

New section and more tutorials
More contents coming up in this site, the previously Help section is now known as Tutorial section. As you have also realised, there's an extra Server List. To all DotA players out there, I would like you to know that playing through an LAN emulator such as Lancraft or Zion is not the only way. There are more ways to just play DotA on the net, do check it out in the Tutorial section, everything you want to know is right there.
I recalled in a few years back, peer-to-peer connection through Warcraft 3 RoC was possible just by entering the party IP address into a certain text box. But with those Blizzard patches, I guess it was no longer possibe. Now I am currently involved in a few things, I got to help up one of the webmaster for his PvPGN site. That means I might have lesser time for this site and I really need people to help me up. Please email me. I need a designer, editor and a programmer. I know I am greedy.

Forum Support Added
Good news here. I have added a Support, Help and Troubleshooting thread in my classmate's newly restablished forum. Please feel free to forward any of your query regarding DotA. Previously, I have someone who gotten my email address and contacted me for help in Friendster. This was unexpected, however I do encourage user who encounter any problem to post in the forum at http://www.pinkyorange.net/forum/forum-34-1.html. Before you do that, you need to sign up for an account at http://www.pinkyorange.net/forum/.
Besides that, I have modified the readability of the website to a larger font and some section of the site. I will try my best to provide all the supports needed.

Updated Map & Zion
Latest map and Zion is already uploaded. I'm sorry for the delay as I'm recently addicted to gaming that nothing else interests me. I am still very addicted even I am doing those maintenance stuff. The new Unofficial DotA Map download section is provided now, because I think 6v6 is cool. It would be better if it can go up to 8v8 at least for LAN gaming.
There is still a lot more to do to improve this webpage, and if only I could satisfy my thirst for gaming.

Welcome to DotA Solution
New mirror Site for http://www.cuteworm.com
This will be an alternative site from now onwards for all your DotA needs. In this site, it not only provides the files required, it also provides solution for WC3 hosting as well. This is a main problem for newbie who wants to host their own game and people with no prior networking knowledge.
IIn addition, I would provide a feature in this site which shows your WAN IP address in the near future for your DotA hosting needs as you need to know your public IP address for players to connect.
To make this page looks more like a DotA solution page, any free voluntary designer is greatly welcomed. Please email me at lim_xing_yi@yahoo.com and I would provide details on how I want this page to look like with slight modification. Basically I'll prefer someone that is well-versed with DotA hero art, but anyone who can enhance this site with better design is also welcomed.
Lastly, thanks to CuteWorm for the permission of hosting a mirror site.
